Finding Spiritual Enlightenment Through Everyday Moments: Dishes and Meditation

Finding Spiritual Enlightenment Through Everyday Moments

Let’s talk spiritual enlightenment — but like, the kind you attempt between emails, existential crises, and accidentally watching 3 hours of cat videos on YouTube.
I used to think spiritual people floated around in linen pants, eating kale, and humming at a frequency only whales can hear. Meanwhile, I was just trying not to yell at slow walkers.
Then I realized — spiritual awakening isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about becoming more of yourself. Just…with a little less screaming in traffic.

☕ Step 1: Coffee is My First Chakra

Every morning, I light a candle (okay, a coffee machine), close my eyes (out of exhaustion), and chant (mostly curse words) until the sacred brew is ready. It’s not traditional, but I swear I hear angels when that first sip hits.
Spiritual lesson? Rituals matter — even the caffeinated kind.

🧘 Step 2: Meditation-ish

I tried meditating the “right” way. Cross-legged. Incense. Silence. It lasted 4 minutes and 32 intrusive thoughts.
Now, I meditate while walking, doing dishes, or staring at trees like they owe me money. Mindfulness doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be real.

🛸 Step 3: Signs from the Universe (or Just Good Timing)

One time, I asked the universe for a sign. Then my Spotify played “Here Comes the Sun.” Coincidence? Maybe. But it felt like a cosmic high-five.
The truth is, when you start paying attention, the universe speaks. Sometimes it’s through angel numbers. Sometimes it’s a fortune cookie. Sometimes it’s your mom texting, “I love you” out of nowhere.

💫 Step 4: You Are the Vibe

Forget “high vibe only” pressure. Real spirituality embraces all your moods — even the cranky, sarcastic, or snack-obsessed ones. Being human is part of being holy.

In Conclusion

Spirituality doesn’t have to be complicated. It can look like belly laughs, a walk in nature, crying over a sunset, forgiving yourself for messing up (again), or dancing alone to 2000s hits. Your soul isn’t waiting for you to become someone else. It’s just waiting for you to show up.
✨ Namasté and snacks always. ✨
